A Memoir in Six Words

I was tagged for this meme by Blue Happy Bunny, and I've spent some time thinking about how best to sum up my life in just six words. It's not easy. Therefore, the best I could manage was:

She always refused to eat sprouts.

Which works on all sorts of levels.

We have exotic wildlife in these parts

Yesterday evening, I saw a small, green parrot in the back garden. I'm guessing it's not a local.

It's not there now, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it has gone back home because I don't think they survive for very long in the great outdoors. Although, I may be wrong about that.

Eavesdropping on the Blogs

Me: Is there anything on tv?

Mr Blogs: No, not much. This might be ok - something about crooks trying to break into Tesco.

Me: Pardon? That doesn't sound right.

Mr Blogs: Oh no, it's not crooks, it's cooks.

Me: Oh. It sounded more interesting when you said crooks. Shall we watch a dvd?
