15 years, blimey. There's people who are almost adults now who have never known a world without the internet.

I feel old.

It made me feel old too! I remember getting excited about having a 1 meg upgrade in my Commodore 64 - yikes that seems like a long time ago.

What's even worse - those kids probably know more about the net than their parents do.

That's a loooong time. I'm remember about being excited about getting on the internet in 96...that's 10 years ago now! Ouch!

I can remember feeling pleased about the 128K version of the Spectrum ZX+ coming out (mine was 64K). AQ little while ago I celibrated the "birthday" of the first ever web browser also made by Tim.

Pippa - I wasn't that interested in the internet when we first got a connection. I thought it was full of geeks and wierdos (well, I suppose you do get them too) Once I had used it I was converted - it took me a while to get over the idea that I could break though, I thought it was like a giant computer and everything I did impacted on everyone else LOL

Matt - It is amazing how much impact Tim has had, I know the internet was around before him, but really he did make it accessable.
